General Warning
Crypto-assets are high-risk. Buying, selling, holding and transferring them can result in the loss of part or all of the money you put in.
These products are not suitable for everyone. Only transact with amounts you can afford to lose. Never use borrowed money, funds needed for daily expenses, or essential savings to acquire crypto-assets.
Read this Risk Disclosure carefully and make sure you understand it before carrying out any transaction. If you do not understand it, we recommend that you seek independent financial and legal advice.
Price Volatility
The prices of crypto-assets are volatile and can move sharply and unpredictably. A price can rise or fall significantly within a short period of time.
In adverse market conditions, during reduced liquidity, or amid sharp price moves, transactions may execute at a price different from what you expected, or may not execute at all.
- Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
- The value of an asset can fall to zero within a short period.
Irreversibility of Transactions
On-chain (blockchain) transactions are final and irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed by the network, it cannot be cancelled, reversed or changed.
If you send funds to a wrong or invalid address, the funds may be lost permanently. Neither Baysart MMC nor any third party can reverse such a transaction.
It is entirely your responsibility to verify the network (for example Bitcoin, Polygon or Solana) and the recipient address before sending.
Self-Custody and Loss of Keys
Baysart is a self-custody wallet. Your recovery phrase (seed) and PIN are stored only on your device. You alone control your keys.
If you lose, forget or disclose your recovery phrase or PIN, you may permanently and completely lose access to your assets.
Baysart MMC does not hold your recovery phrase or PIN, cannot recover them, and cannot restore lost funds. It is your responsibility to store your recovery phrase securely and offline and to never share it with anyone.
AZNS and De-Peg Risk
AZNS is a stablecoin that aims for a value of 1 AZNS = 1 Azerbaijani manat (AZN). However, achieving or maintaining this ratio is not guaranteed. AZNS may de-peg and trade below 1 manat.
The value of AZNS depends on the adequacy of its reserves. In cases of insufficient reserves, suspension of redemptions, or insolvency of the issuer or administrator, you may not be able to redeem AZNS at its full value.
The AZNS reserve includes a sleeve of USD-denominated stablecoins. This creates foreign-exchange (FX) risk: movements in the AZN/USD exchange rate may affect the manat value of the reserve.

Counterparty Risk
On in-wallet buy and sell transactions, Baysart MMC is your counterparty. Pricing is based on the prices of the Settlement/Liquidity Partner with a spread added; for this reason the price you receive may differ from a market reference price.
Financial, technical or operational problems affecting Baysart MMC or the partners it relies on (Payment Partner, Settlement/Liquidity Partner, Cash Access Network, Infrastructure Providers, Third-Party Service Providers) may delay or suspend services or result in loss of funds.
Not Insured or Compensated
Crypto-assets are not bank deposits. They are not covered by any deposit insurance system.
Assets you hold or transact through Baysart MMC are not protected by any state guarantee fund, deposit insurance or investor compensation scheme. In the event of loss, you may have no right to compensation.
Not Legal Tender
Crypto-assets are not legal tender in the Republic of Azerbaijan and are not recognised as a means of payment.
No person is obliged to accept crypto-assets as payment. The value of crypto-assets is not backed by the state.
Tax Risk
The tax treatment of transactions involving crypto-assets may change and may not currently be fully settled. It is your responsibility to determine, declare and pay any applicable taxes.
Baysart MMC does not provide tax advice. Seek independent professional advice on your tax obligations. Further terms are set out in the tax clause of the User Agreement.
Regulatory Change Risk
Forthcoming legislation on crypto-assets in the Republic of Azerbaijan and rules of the Central Bank may alter, restrict or suspend the scope, terms and availability of services.
As a result of such changes, some services may become temporarily or permanently unavailable, additional requirements may apply, or your transactions may be affected.
Technology Risk
Crypto-assets and blockchain networks carry technology risks. These risks may arise from factors outside our control.
- Smart-contract risk: defects or vulnerabilities in smart contracts may result in loss of funds.
- Network-congestion and fee risk: network congestion may delay transactions or cause fees to rise sharply.
- Third-party-provider risk: failures in services provided by Infrastructure Providers and Third-Party Service Providers may affect transactions.
- Cybersecurity risk: funds may be lost as a result of attacks, hacking attempts or fraud. The security of your device and credentials is your responsibility.
